Blade and soul does look better than Aion, but a while before thats out, well before GW2 anyway

Dont care about Aion at all; Just because Ncsoft published GW shouldn't be any indication of its quality.

As I mentioned before, Aion was previewed 2 years before it was released, so what's your excuse GW2?

Don't swallow the 'not want to show an imperfect early game' BS. Many up and coming games are previewed long in advance, heck look at early GW previews from 2003, it looks completely different. We know fine well games evolve and improve during development.

All we've gotten from GW2 is text/info.

Its good though, GW2 will learn from Aion and it will be a better game.

I've never been interested in Asian MMOs. I've tried about a dozen and they all end up with the same concept. Congratulation you're now level 50, keep grinding for 2 more months and you'll MAYBE get level 51

Guild Wars is one of the few MMOs that I've ever liked. I'm sure Guild Wars 2 will be worth 50$.

Lol, the day Anet takes pointers/tips from an NCSoft made game is the day the Guild Wars title bites the dust. Aion looks like a rehash of Lineage2, graphics wise, lore/character wise, too much anim flash. I hear it won't have grind, but in order for the title to be successful with numbers/subscriptions and to feed the frenzy over in the east where grind makes multiple people take in money I can't see it being grindless.

they have no offically said it will have amonthy fee. i nrussia it will be free to play in china its pay per time(100tickets for about 14 cents), with each ticket lasting 75 seconds .

other games im looking forward too is blade and soul, and the game t.e.r.a
as of right now been playing aion on its china client, sence its free til the 15th on two of its farming groups. game looks like plays well, only downside is once you get to level 20, yu will need other people helping you along, they do not have ahero system so you will have to turn to others to team up with.

as far as d3 goes with rumors and such coming around this game for over 7 years, and the game is still nto out and all we get is old videos, that they waited to put out for 5 years.makes this game more vaporware then gw2. and the last thing is d3 will most liklly be a monthy fee to play.

[ ] Aion (Another Asian style game that will flop in the Western Market)
[ ] Guild Wars 2 (Yeah just to be told they are switching to GW3 in 2 years)
[ ] Diablo 3 (Diablo 1 & 2 never had the customization that I liked)
[ ] Starcraft (Different Genre but again not my type of game)

I guess I am kind of in limbo right now, currently taking a long break from Guild Wars due to nothing new in the game and nothing new coming.

Tried several games but nothing stands out for me.

They're probably both too grind-based for me. I can do that crap for a couple weeks before it's boring. I bought a 360 and might as well just catch up on the huge library of games / Live arcade, than mess with PC games that need to be about grind to be "fun".
